Due to continued growth of qiio®, we are offering the opportunity for a Technical Pre-Sales Manager to become part of our fast paced and rapidly growing IoT company and to help in our exciting journey to securely connect devices across the globe.
As our Technical Pre-Sales Manager you are engaged very early in the customer lifecycle, where the customer is just beginning to define the vision, is finding out what is possible and also determining its feasibility. This role requires an affinity for overseeing and qualifying the customer’s use case, for technology evangelism and for great customer engagement. In this role you will guide and interact with the potential customer, while explaining abstract technical concepts and solutions from Hardware to Cloud as they relate to business value.
As part of the Sales Team you will play a meaningful role in supporting the Sales Account Managers, Technical Customer Support Engineer as well as our Partners thus to play a meaningful role in gathering important and essential information, forecast data as well as ensuring that the customer is set up to be successful and to meet business objectives, while overlooking the progress of customer requests. You will connect the customer with the right team within qiio and its partners and help develop the PoC and deployment strategies and plans that meet their requirements; and handling detailed and sophisticated information to help prepare estimates, proposals and contracts.
You will also recognize opportunities and engage in business development as well as support the acquisition of IoT projects, customers and partners.
In addition you will oversee and be responsible for evaluating and implementing qiio’s new CRM Tool.
Technical background in electronics (hardware and software) and a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Ideally understanding of IoT ecosystems (hardware, software, connectivity, and cloud solutions) – Technology enthusiast
Talent and enthusiasm to work and engage with prospects to optimize the customer journey
Strong communications and presentation skills
Secure information sharing and reporting and coordinate resources to ensure superior external and internal customer satisfaction
Willingness to work in a start-up environment
Cooperate and closely work with the VP Business Strategy Global Sales and Marketing and the Sales team of EMEA and the Americas and be part of defining and implementing qiio’s global sales strategy
